Most of the primitive fishing villages in Malaysia are located on the riverbanks not far away from the sea. On any fine day, these fishing villages become very enchanting in the serene environments. Now a days, such secluded scenic fishing village landscapes are gradually diminishing and replaced by busy tourist attractions, many seafood restaurants and shopping establishments for tourists are popping up like mushrooms after the rain. Serenities of the past at the very same location are no longer exist.
This scenically image of diminishing serenity of typical Malaysian fishing village brilliantly painted in vibrant watercolour is an exquisitely outstanding work of art by Teo Lay Hua.
