The Goethe family home is now the Goethe House Museum in Frankfurt, Germany, located in the inner city of Frankfurt, where Goethe was born in 1749. From 1733 to 1795, this majestic mansion was the residence of the Goethe family. Goethe’s mother was the daughter of the mayor and his father was a lawyer. Goethe grew up and spending his happy childhood here until 1765，then left his hometown to study law in Leipzig when he was 16 years old.
